Verizon Re-Design

The Verizon logo Re-Design was my proudest project. For this project, I worked with three other students to find a brand that needed an overhaul. Our goal was to create a new logo that better represented the company. My team chose Verizon for this because they recently changed their logo to something that I felt look, to put it simply, lazy. Their new logo is simply their name in all lowercase letters with a small red check at the end.

 

Our objective for our re-design was to create a logo that represented a cell phone company and spoke to their brand. Our biggest concerns were that the all lowercase font did not emphasize the company brand enough, the checkmark felt like an afterthought, and the logo created no connection to the services Verizon provides.
